Who is this seminar for?

Since 2012, we have been supporting EXIST-funded startups—now well over 1,000 teams. What we’ve learned during this time is that the biggest challenges facing young startups are rarely just technical or financial in nature. They almost always involve team dynamics as well. Who does what, and why? How do we communicate our idea in a way that others can truly understand it? Where do we want to be in three months? That’s exactly what this seminar is all about.

We use methods and tools that we’ve developed specifically for startup teams like yours and refined over many years. No generic team-building exercises, no PowerPoint theory—just concrete work on your situation, your communication, and your goals.

How exactly will it work?

Preparatory Phase: e-Learning and Survey

Before we meet in person, we’ll get started together online. A short e-learning module—for which you’ll receive a link after registering for the session—and a survey will prepare you for the content of the in-person seminar days and ensure that we can use our time together on-site to focus on what’s most important. Please set aside about 60 minutes for this.

In-person seminar

The centerpiece of the seminar is the 1.5-day in-person session in Berlin. There, you’ll meet great coaches and other startup teams from different universities.

Important Information

Minimum number of participants: If a session has not reached the required minimum number of teams by two weeks before the seminar, we reserve the right to cancel that session. In that case, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Cancellations: If a member of your team is unable to participate at the last minute due to health reasons, we require a doctor’s note. A cancellation fee will be charged for unexcused no-shows. You can find the exact cancellation policy in our Cancellation Policy.
