In this five-part series on real-world case studies, we present a traditional media company headquartered in Oldenburg that was able to expand its existing product portfolio to include a digital advertising platform. The digital transformation project was initiated through an investment in a startup. The online advertising platform later evolved into a successful white-label solution for other publishers. The following text presents a case study from the study “Digital Innovation in SMEs,” to be published in 2019. The study is being conducted by HIIG and Sirius Minds and supported by HypoVereinsbank.
